I’m lightly obsessed with numbers and medical data. I read tons of articles and books on health. One of my favorite medical things is having a blood test done and getting the results (Funny detail: this used to be my worst nightmare because of my needle phobia, but nowadays the excitement of knowing my numbers wins it from the fear of needles.)
Despite this curiosity, I have never paid a company for a medical checkup, although it is something I thought I might do one day. Until I decided to write an article about private medical screening for the Saudi Gazette and started researching this topic, that is. Never say never, but I will definitely think twice before paying for a service that is controversial at best and dangerous at worst.
